I think that the text books feature below should be considered pre-requisites for anyone
who is seriously interested in plant pathology, no matter what your level of education. The first book, (A dictionary of Plant Pathology), is an excellent reference for looking
up definitions of words commonly used in plant pathology. The second book, (Plant Pathology) provides the background necesary
for understanding basic plant pathology concepts, and the third (Basic Plant Pathology Methods) provides
the reader with all the basic methods necessary to isolate and study plant pathogens. The fourth text (The Plant Pathologists' Pocketbook) has just recently
been revised and is an excellent alternative to Basic Plant Pathology Methods.
